OMG Well, at least I'm honest and ****ing rude.
I have a more important question, where is this whole list of levels taken from? I gather this is only a mash up of final levels with Murti's documents? If that's so then it's not true tbh. Last edited by Caesum; 05-05-17 at 21:08. |

How often do BETAs/Alphas get released to the public/fans?

^When someone buys them and is charitable enough to throw their money away and release them for the enjoyment of everyone.

Something we could do is through various kickstarters crowd source the funds to buy these betas and release them online for everyone to enjoy. But that would take a lot of organisation and I think is against the T&C. Last edited by Boobandie; 07-05-17 at 11:16. |

Oh my god, so many levels deleted from the final version. Many of those levels were probably levels shown off in screenshots. I specifically remember that one screen shot of Lara backed against a stone wall that looked to be a tomb or a castle shooting at skeletal beings.
It's a crime that this game was never finished. Last edited by charmedangelin; 08-05-17 at 14:03. |

How would someone buy a pre-release build of a game anyhow? Do you usually have to go through a developer or publisher to obtain one?
Also, how would anyone know if they actually still exist? The older builds could have very likely been deleted after production ended, or are they just sitting on someone's hard drive doing absolutely nothing.. Sad to think about them being lost forever. They should be preserved by releasing them to the public/fans and not held onto by one person. |

Many different potential ways. Developers leaking them either accidentally or deliberately, individuals selling them for either profit or for preservation, publishers accidentally releasing an incorrect print, people buying systems when a company goes bankrupt and coming across it. It can all happen for various reasons.
The only unreleased build I'm truly interested in is AOD, the E3 one or any other before what ended up in store shelves. But I don't think that game ever had the 'luck' of leaking. |

Tomb Raider AoD would be such a long game with all those locations.
The scene with Von Croy, the duals, everything was amazing |
