she was a house hold name. Now she's just some sort of fad with zero legacy. Eido$ should have never rushed Core. OR, Core should have stopped at TR5, wait a few years and make a new game.

Look at the Sailor Moon series for example. Some have waited 10-20 years for the new anime and manga to be released and now there's tons of hype for the new Sailor Moon. The General Public is aware and wants it. Whereas no one cares about Laura Cruz anymore. She could have been as big as Spiderman OR Batman but blame Eido$ for being money hungry freaks and Crystal Dynamics for poorly written and confusing plots. So confusing and overdone to the point they had to RE-BOOT the TR franchise again.

edit: Age has nothing to do with anything. I'm 18 BTW.

There are MADONNA fans the age of 15 that know every little detail about her.
Why would you compare Tomb Raider to Sailor Moon? Almost everybody has heard of the TR movies with Angelina. I don't know many people except girls who watched it as kids who know what Sailor Moon is.

Because I said Core should have killed off the TR series at TR5 and make a huge comeback. Everyone would remember. Now, Laura is nothing but a hasbeen fad (sadly)

Both Sailor Moon and Tomb Raider were household names (well TR was) with a huge supporting base (cant really say the same about TR now but its pretty stable)

Today, Sailor Moon is a much more powerful force than what TR will ever be again. Sailor Moon is much more global than TR ever once was.

I thought it was the right move for CD to make the trilogy after core got fired after TR6.

Just providing a better comparison since "Lara croft tomb raider" is most likely not the phrase people Google when they want to search Tomb Raider.

Sailor Moon still manages to peak through the middle.

Lara Croft is dead last (no one is interested in her as much anymore)

and of course Tomb Raider will be first place. The new game and comic have released.

Ermagerd, y'all.

Just finished by second playthrough of the TReboot!
The combat is so addictive I didn't want to stop playing.

Why is there no option to replay the game with all the skills and upgrades you unlocked anyway?
I know you can go back and collect **** around the island but there's no enemies or anything since you've done everything already.

Ugh.

When's the next game coming out?

I really want a spear in the next game.

Imagine running through a huge field surrounded by mountains, with rivers and forests around. Throwing spears at wolves and ****. Would be fun.

There are enemies if you travel round the map after finishing, just not that many of them.

Almost none*. That sucked. After completing TR9 and finding all the collectibles you're left with absolutely nothing to do.

I'm not going to believe a single word or even a screenshot until I actually play the next game.

I was reading all the interviews before the reboot release. Oh my gosh, how many lies they have said.

And also, what you can see in a screenshot is not always true. Remember the screenshot from the Night Hub with Lara jumping towards the big cottage? And remember the high tower with the big statue on the top of it? Yes, I remember that too, but it's missing in the game. I also remember discussing the possibilities of exploring and climbing that tower and hidden paths etc. with LF25 whole nights...and holy crap the tower didn't make it into the game, no hidden paths, no alternative paths...lol the game is linear as hell.

I really am looking forward the sequel, I can't wait to see a screenshot or hear some nice info, I still have faith they can produce perfect "Tomb Raider" game, but I'm so not going to believe anything till I play it...

Ok, I just had to vent it all...what a relief.
