Please note my edit on the previous page.
Yes, CelticGuard, I got music, but no game sounds like pistols firing or footsteps. OK for my purposes, anyway. Mytly, I used Aurum Potestas Est from the Back to Basics - 2010 group. Last edited by rr_carroll; 20-02-10 at 22:24. |

Has anyone ever got stuck or had a glitch in the sacred lake tunnel that we are taking about here, on the origional disk (the straight tunnel not the sloping one)
![]() I have tried both straight tunnel and sloped tunnel versions and cannot see why there should be a difference. Lara gets through both tunnel versions easily. PS..... I see rr_carroll has got lara through the tunnels as well ![]()

Well, the Soldout version may be a little puzzling at first, and the jump position is a bit harder to achieve, but I have to agree the difference is small.

This detective work is most interesting
![]() We are almost there ! Remember the proverb..... 'Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel' Well we have been in that tunnel ![]()

Tried my PS1 TR4 copy out and cheated up to here City of the Dead, which looks like this:
![]() It's the original (not platinum) PAL copy. |

hence, you will also find on your disk, that you will have the origional straight tunnel in sacred lake, instead of the sloped tunnel.

City of the Dead is also one of the TR4 levels included with the Level Editor. So I checked out the level, and it seems to be the same version as in the original TR4 - in spite of the fact that the Level Editor was released a year after TR4 - i.e. plenty of time to make any changes.

I might have noticed another Sacred lake level difference. It's right at the end; to the left, you can see a block that Lara will drop onto:
![]() ![]() That's the Sold Out version, but on my original PS1 copy (which I assume is the PC original equivalent) there's no block for Lara to drop onto (forcing Lara to loose a lot of health). |

The block is present in both versions of the PC files - so it's a PC/PS1 difference. I was aware such differences for TR2, but not other games.
