Exclamation TRLEs Room Edit won't load after first use

Hey. I have encountered another problem with the TRLE's room editor. When I loaded it up the first time, it worked perfectly. However upon second usage, the screen appears black, my cursor makes the rotation for 2 seconds, disappears and then the app closes. Is there anyway this can be fixed. Thank You

The screen can become partially black for some reason.
Try if Alt + Enter works.
(switching between full screen and windowed.)

I take it you are using the original TRLE?

But that's not the only problem. it then shuts down after a few seconds and I don't know what the problem could be..

Nope, just closes down. Did try the Alt+Enter while it was loading but nothing happened. Just carried on being a black screen before closing. For some reason I have to keep switching between folders to get it to work, I have to move it to a "Core Design" file, then when I close it, I have to move it to "Desktop" folder and it does get very annoying.

My Documents is the best place to install TRLE on newer systems.

Also check compatibility settings. You may need to set winroomedit to Win98, XP or whatever. Doesn't matter which compatibility, as long as it works.

So I take it is running fine now?

Out of curiosity: which compatibility setting worked for you?

You have to activate reduced colours 16 bit to make it work. I had the same problem the other day when using a fresh trle installation.
