Of course, that's what these forums is for. And it's super fun.

For me ruins are places that are destroyed. Vilcabamba was in ruins, Maria Doria was in ruins, TRAOD industrial buildings were in ruins. Lara's personality is in ruins too.

What about all the ruins inhabitated by these weird people who were fighting with the evil organization what-was-its-name? It's also Kitezh isn't it? I can't remember tbh, Rise was so boring.

The geothermal valley ? well , the huts there are definitely not ruins , as they were pretty different to the Japanese village in TR2013 (which was old , half destroyed and deserted) .

To be honest , I won't mind a single country/location in the next game if only it allowed more different weather conditions , Rise was great and all , and its environments oozed with atmosphere imo , but putting the entire game there was a mistake , there was just so much snow and ice , I understand that the myth they've chosen might have forced the location on them , but they could've went with many possibilities to achieve more diversity : they could've made Syria bigger , make us find our way to the prophet's tomb in the desert mountains , perhaps make us explore that town in the distance , they could've included Mongolia in the game too , doesn't the kitezh myth have something to do there ? they could've had Lara travel to Mongolia at one point in the game , where she had to retrieve a key essential to enter Kitezh which the Mongols stole back when they invaded the city etc .

Let's hope they do better next game

Huts? I remember destroyed brick structures in which Sofia and her people were planning attack? I also remember some towers or lighthouses which were also used..?

The Remnants built their village around those Byzantine structures , you really don't remember any huts ?

I'm not against one country/location per se, but I do miss the classics and LAU's diversity in the environments and I'm not sure that can be realistically replicated if having just one country. I'm not saying we need 4-5 completely different locations like in the older games, but I'd prefer the next game to have at least two, possibly three completely different locations with gameplay divided somewhat equally between them.
Particularly after TR2013 and ROTTR having been pretty much one location games I think the third reboot game is in dire need of more diversity (and no military installations please ).
Still, I wouldn't mind an all-Egypt setting or all-tropical rainforest setting in a future TR game, but for the next one I really wanna have more of a feel of globetrotting and diversity, much because of the two previous games.

I also agree with you that they could easily have expanded upon and put more of the story into the Syria section. It would definitely have made the game feel more diverse if they had done that because the Syria section was just too short. It was basically ROTTR's very own Cambodia. They could easily have done it while keeping the same overall story and plot points I think.

There were yes, of course. But they were only but a part of the entire map. The village was full of people obviously, but I'm talking about the ruins at the beginning of the game, which were populated too. As well as the lighthouse as far as I remember.

Syria segments were probably my favorite part, aside from some of the bonus tombs. But I'm kinda biased towards arid/desert levels. I think most of the cool moments in rottr were either way too linear or too short or both :/

I actually had a few ideas about her.

- Make the lips tinier by painting on the lipstick smaller, and use a darker, less loud shade. (Think about the geisha's tiny-lip illusion, how they leave their lips skin-toned to make them look smaller.) Maybe look to the Playmates TR toys for inspiration on lip colors.
- You want to bring her eyebrows down to make her look less dopey and surprised. Which may mean either repainting all of her hair or having mismatched eyebrows.
- Maybe consider repainting her backpack straps? Unless you take sandpaper to the plastic or something, the layering for them would still be there, but you could make it look less like ToyBiz's Jubilee figure's backpack, and more like Lara's.

Here's an admittedly awful mockup I made of what she could look like, though the lip color is still that awful baboon's ass red.
