I love this game and it is my favorite. I enjoy the difficulty of the game, and the atmosphere. Has my favorite voice actress and the music was fantastic. I replay this once a year.

I loved the carts you had to ride on the tracks in mines and the creepy mutant things. I still have not gotten to play the bonus level and it's been years I have been playing this game. I always forget a secret because I get sidetracked.

If I have one complaint, it is that it is too darn dark! I got sick of lighting flares. I swear I don't remember it being that dark when I was younger.

I like a good challenge.

I am at this level now and love the puzzles and gameplay. The ruins are cool too.

I like your attitude about the Classics! I am stuck in Tinnos but won't be for much longer. This game has provided so much fun and excitement and I plan to play it again.

More reasons why this game is so awesome! Thank you Laragate!

Crystal, please remake this Classic game! This is what fans want.

The London levels have such incredible atmosphere, it's a shame the level design is so confusing and nonsensical. Lud's Gate is the only level out of the entire Classic trilogy I skip every playthrough.

Imagine if they remade it though in modern day U5 graphics and made it make sense.

Exploring Aldwych disused train station - dark and unlit and interconnecting with actual working train lines you had to dodge. Exploring old, vacant wharf industrial buildings, climbing scaffolding and nearby cranes, making your way across London rooftops. Entering London sewers, discovering the urban myth of discarded baby crocodiles grown large down there is true. Climbing St. Paul's Cathedral, entering either the British Museum or the Natural History Museum, hiding from guards, stealing artifacts. Discovering the hidden Mason's HQ.

It would be amazing.

The old games had so much packed into them. I wish they made TR places like this to visit in the new games.

^Now that you mention it, London would be the location I would be most excited to see in a remake. A desert, 2 jungles and an iceberg wouldn't be nearly as aesthetically interesting to me as exploring a dark, gothic/industrial (also a great music genre) city dressed in leather.

^London at night would be amazing!

I don't know why don't they do things like this in the new games. Why are we always seemingly stuck in the wilds with a few trees and caves scattered around? There is way more to world than what they give us in those games.

But regarding TR3, I'd also quite like them to do Area 51 in modern day graphics. Have Lara infiltrate A51 from the desert avoiding the "shoot to kill" guards and discovering what the US military have inside there. I'd love that.

This is an awesome idea! I love it. I want the Classics to come back. They are the best.

We want TRIII remade!

I'll say this about the game: It has the best Lara's Home of the series. You could spend an hour just exploring the massive grounds and finding the secret passageways, and I love how it combined the indoor and outdoor from the first two games.

I'm sorry to post in an old thread like that but I didn't want to start a new one just to say this:

I am replaying the game right now, I just got to the second level of Nevada where you lost all your inventory. These Area 51 guys took everything but the artifact and it is so funny. Like it must be the most valuable thing in her bag and it still there

It made me think what could have made a great additional gameplay moment would have been to get the Infada stone back (or every piece of artifact you might have in your inventory at that moment).

Anyway, I am loving every moment of this replay !

I love this game so much! It is the only classic TR that I never even came close to finishing. So part of its magic for me is that there is still more to explore here.
I take a shot a shot at it every few years or so and even the first level never ceases to make me giddy. This game is so difficult. And the save system in my version adds to that challenge. And beyond that I make it even harder for myself. I’m attempting to play through the game now, with the added rules that I may not use medipacks and that I may only save in-between levels. I haven’t made it past Temple Ruins yet. The snakes have become manageable by now, but the poison darts in the corridor past the six-armed statue always kill me. I’m on my way there again now

Edit: *sigh* I fell to my death in the room with the poison dart pool. I’ll try again tonight ^^
