Hi guys,

Did anyone here have any issues putting their statue together? Mine arrived today and Lara's foot will not correctly fit into the slot on the dinosaur. I have been really patient and tried different angles, used a decent amount of pressure, tried wiggling it about .. it slots in about half way but then it feels as though it hits a dead end and will absolutely not fully fit in the slot. I can't tell why, maybe the pin is out of alignment or the slot is too narrow at the bottom, but it is honestly not from lack or trying, I even got my dad to try to help me incase I wasn't applying enough pressure. I can attach pictures if it helps, the paint is even scratching off on the slot where its clearly rubbing against some resistance. I have no idea what to do, so any help would be greatly appreciated <3

If it is the case that the paint is being damaged by you trying to put the statue together, my best suggestion would be to contact Weta customer services.

It should not be so difficult to put together that it makes you damage the product itself, so it was probably a manufacturer error and they’ll be able to sort if for you.

Thank you for the response, luckily the scratches in the paint are only occurring on the part that slots inside the raptor, so it would not be visible once it fit correctly... I'm just unable to get it to fit. I am going to contact the customer services because the box is badly damaged and two spikes have broken off one of the raptors, as well as a shoe lace on one of Lara's boots. The thing I am concerned about is what kind of resolution they can offer, unfortunately the import tax for this item was crazy because I'm in the UK (its was over £300 ), so sending out replacements parts etc just doesn't seem viable.

Another option is to support this by a turntable. You will need a pretty good one that can support the weight though & they do not come cheap (80E ish?..=. But if I already invest so much for the statue, the cost of the turntable will not be too bad.

I completely agree what the hell is even that? Doesn't look like Lara in the slightest, looks like a random npc from Kingdom Hearts decided to attempt a Lara Croft cosplay and failed miserably. This better not represent unified Lara or represent any kind of model for ports/remasters/remakes because that would be incredibly sad. Where's the bust line, the waistline, why the ridiculous large boots?

It looks like an NPC from Kingdom Hearts crossed over to TR Reloaded and decided to have a kid with reloaded Lara.

That statue is cute & adorable! It’s just something cartoony. Like come on guys stop taking stuff so serious all the time. Lighten up lol. (I hate the eyebrows).
