They got original model assets from CD and model face highly resembles that of Reboot Lara. It might certainly be what lara would look like in the next game. Face of reboot lara but more similar to TR Anni Lara in attire.

These people definitely have talent. Oh, my. If the statue wasn't impossible to afford (I'd buy several other things I do need in my life with that money), I'd totally get it. It looks like the ultimate TR collectible.

Oh my!!! This looks INCREDIBLE!!!!

I've been a long time fan of the work they do at Weta Workshop and this is no exception. They really are crazy talented!

Of course I'll never be able to actually afford it 😭 , but I still can't wait to see the reveal of the finished statue. Seriously, brilliant work.

Honestly considering selling a kidney for this statue, it just looks breathtaking!

And this basically confirms that the basis for this statue is indeed reboot Lara. And more interestingly, it already came with a fully modelled classic outfit. Which means CD had this model since at least 2020.

With the TR12 code found on Avengers and this, I wonder if this is indeed how Lara will look in the next game, or if it a basis for it. Or if this model came from the rumoured 2nd TRI remake that was supposedly canned. If it is, it is a great basis. I prefer the take present in the TRI reimagined cover, as it is a bit more, I dunno, tidy and practical looking (belt on and not around the shorts, larger backpack, dual legstrap holdsters), but this would still be a great take on the classic outfit.
