Seconded. I can't remember ever seeing a TR statue that looks better than this. Would have love to buy one, but yeah for the obvious reasons I won't too. ![]()

Amazing statue and worth the price if you ask me. I won’t buy it because I wouldn’t know what to do with it. I’m not a real fan I guess.

If this is representive of what Lara may look like in the unified timeline then I'd say it's certainly a step in the right direction. I like her physique, the realistic rendition of the classic outfit, and all the little details are incredible. Personally, I'm not entirely sold on the face yet, I know it's impossible to expect them to eradicate Survivor Lara completely, but something about it just doesn't feel 'right.' I even see a little bit of Camilla in her, and the mouth is too small imo. Her hair no longer looks like a retro mullet or a squirrel permanently glued to her head for once tho, that's cool.
EDIT: Just watched the video which shows the figurine "in motion" and I do like her face there.Honestly, fans who purchase these are in an entirely unique tier of their own. I own all the games (sometimes multiple copies and different editions), but I've never felt the incentive to collect action figures or comic books... certain type of merchandise just doesn't appeal to me, and being somewhat of a minimalist I'm quite picky in terms of what I devote my precious storage space to etc. so I never went out of my way to actually purchase everything with the Tomb Raider brand on it. This might sound a bit like 1st world problems, but I am a bit torned between buying this statue or not.
I would actually be able to afford it if I chose a payment plan, and I always wanted to have at least one quality gaming statue, but I just don't have where to display it. Especially considering I probably will have to move a few times again later this year... Man, I hate this...

I don't think the pic I chose shows the face in the best light, to be fair.
My take on what owning an expensive figurine means as a fan: I honestly do not believe you're more of a fan if you buy these statues. Neither does not buying one mean you're less of a fan. Some fans have the money to buy these figurines, and some might sell their kidneys, I dunno, but all that means is you have the (spare) money and you like figurines. There are collectors out there who will buy a figurine like this just to add to their collection. If you can afford these, but don't want one, it doesn't make you less of a fan either. Maybe you'd rather have room for something else maybe you don't like figures at all. I'm betting this statue is pretty heavy too so you'd need a sturdy display unit. And if you can't afford one, don't fret about not being a big enough fan. I really do hope more affordable merch is announced. It would be nice to be able to get something to commemorate the anniversary, even if it's a t-shirt or mug.

![]() €1,246 really is a lot of coins, and it's certainly more than your average monthly salary. Even if I had that type of money to spend (and then some), I really don't think I'd use it to purchase a statue, but that's just me. Other people's opinions will vary. |

By the way, more affordable merch is coming. Neha or Meagan (I don't remember now who was it) confirmed it during the Tomb Raider II stream. Although production delays unfortunately happened and they might only come at the end of the year or even in 2022.
