The best Star Trek series of the modern era and the worst
https://www.ign.com/articles/best-st...paramount-plus That should have been called the best Star Trek series and movies of the modern era and the worst because Section 31 is included, if that had been the case the Jar Jar Abrams movies could have been included. Section 31 is number 7, STD is number 4. It would have been better if it had been divided into good and bad with 31 and STD being bad. Picard and Lower Decks in the good. Also mentioned is Short Treks, Prodigy and Strange New Worlds I can't comment on them I haven't seen them yet. |

Another era has ended the final issue of Star Trek Explorer is out now, I picked up issue 13 a few weeks ago it said that issue 14 wouldn't be available until December 2025
https://trekmovie.com/2024/09/25/sta...cial-magazine/ To quote Lieutenant Yar hailing frequencies closed sir. Plenty of magazines have closed down in the last few years, 3 magazines closed last year Play, Total Film and Neo. These are all the other magazines that have closed down over the years https://www.tombraiderforums.com/sho...&postcount=795 FHM, Nuts, Zoo are long gone too, Loaded is still around but only as a website Loaded relaunched in 2015 as a digital magazine with a significant reduction in risqué material before relaunching again as a website last year. This picture from Star Trek Generations will be what it will be like when I finish reading it, Picard to Farragut 2 to beam up. Unlike the Enterprise-D which came back from the dead there will be no more print media for Star Trek magazines. https://youtu.be/uXVkle0d8Is In a way I'm kind of relieved that it's gone as for quite a few years every issue was filled with both STD and the Jar Jar Abrams movies which got old very quickly having every issue focused on STD and the Jar Jar Abrams movies ignoring everything else Star Trek. I'll still miss it though I won't miss it's erratic release schedule. |

Unfortunately entropy consumes everything. Me, I'd really like season 3 of Strange New Worlds to start up. I'd like to see what happens after Capt. Pike gets the Enterprise away from the Gorn.

Star Trek Captains ranked from worst to best
https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/star-trek-captains-ranked/ Captain Archer is most definitely not the worst Captain in Star Trek. Burnham is the worst Captain in Star Trek she shouldn't have been allowed on board a Starfleet ship let alone become Captain. Captain Picard you don't deserve to wear that uniform, that applies both to Burnham and Chris Pine's Kirk https://youtu.be/xefh7W1nVo4 Not mentioned is Captain Kirk from the Jar Jar Abrams movies, he's the 2nd worst Captain after Burnham, when the Enterprise was destroyed in Beyond, instead of overseeing the evacuation like Picard or Janeway or any other Captain would he ran around the ship with a goofy expression on his face looking for an escape pod while leaving the crew to fend for themselves and more than likely letting some of them die while he was in a hurry to abandon ship. Chris Pine should stick to comedy it's the only genre he's capable of being in, he'll never be an a list actor IMO and I can't see him ever being the lead actor in a movie. Jar Jar Abrams Kirk and this Captain whatever her name is are both idiots https://youtu.be/l5MLUWMD1HM |

![]() ![]() It's Chris Pine's Kirk that I have an issue with in that he's a very poor Captain. Compared to Chris Pine's Kirk, Picard and Janeway are exemplary Captains Commander Riker's opinion of Captain Jellico also applies to Chris Pine's Kirk https://youtu.be/AC01Cx67oYA |

@ DragonSlayer: Okay, I re-read your post and it states "Captain Picard, you don't deserve to wear that uniform." That's why I asked you that question.

![]() Quote:
Star Trek and Titanic a new crossover is bringing Hollywood's most surprising IPs together https://screenrant.com/star-trek-tit...wood-surprise/ Before I read the entire link I was picturing Picard and Beverly Crusher recreating the I'm the king of the world scene then going below deck with Beverly. I don't usually read graphic novels I'll read this one though I would have liked it if they had made it a movie similar to the Futurama Titanic episode |
