Absolutely not!

It's good to get things out of your system, especially a hobby you're passionate about, and plenty of users have found a lot of engagement from reading and replying to your opinions

I hope I haven't put you off!

You helped me reinstall Shadow again after putting it off for a few weeks, been wanting to enjoy those tombs all over again

Gur I'm in my 30s so I'm a dinosaur, nothing can put me off and just play what you want, not what others suggest I'm just too-opinionated about stuff i like but enjoy whatever, it's vidya games, meant to be entertaining, not a job/chore

But yes I think this fanbase overreacted with Shadow and if there's less tombs in the next game I will know who to blame

I don't like the idea of unifying the timelines but I don't think the multiverse is the answer either.

Classic should NOT be made my CD though. Leave it to Saber and Aspyr or a studio that loves the classics.
But Saber and Aspyr just took the classics and remastered them. They did not create a new game in classic style. They did a good job with the remastered. The changed nothing about Lara’s background, about how puzzles work or add in any new ones, the plot remained the same. All was like Core Design has made it.No one know how good they are at creating a new classic TR game.

TR12 will take place after all the other adventures. Now, the question is, what will be considered as the last adventure? AOD or TRU?

I think a sequel to AOD would be wonderful, but it would cover a dark theme again and... that's enough, right? I need a more 'happy' and colorful Lara adventure.

I think people are taking the premise of 'unification' too literally. You need to have an element creative liberty to let it slide. All it means is things that happened in the classic and LAU universes happened in the rebooted/unified universe. It doesn't mean they happened in the same way.

For example, the core adventure of Legend is that Lara went in search of an artifact that turned out to be Excalibur. She still could have done that even in the backstory to the main narrative was to find her mother.

Werner Von Croy could still exist in the Unified timeline it could just be that we haven't focused on him as a major impact on her life yet. Let's not forget, before TR4 Lara's catalyst for adventure was her plane crash in the Himalayas when she was 21. It was only when we get to TR4 they pull Werner out the woodwork and her trip to Cambodia and Ireland when she was 16.

They're not gonna accomplish anything besides forcing their woke ideology upon us.
