Is it just me or has the death scene caused by G Adult been removed or censored in the Ray Tracing version of RE2?

Is this the one you are referring to?
https://youtu.be/7gwIUNGEnqo

Is it anything like this?

I wouldn't know if it was censored as I rarely get killed in a Resident Evil game, the minute I see an enemy I light them up and nuke them and I always keep my distance

Could you record a video of the possibly censored version for comparison?

I'm referring to the one from RE2. I don't think "censored" is the correct term, but rather that the death scene has been removed. Now the G-Adult will attack with its digestive fluids, but will never kill Leon/Claire, no matter how many times it attacks him/her.

The only way it will kill you is by hitting you with its arms, or by throwing one of those embryos at you that spits out and chases you. The only thing the digestive fluid will do now is poison you, but it will never kill you.

I mean, the death scene you shared in the first video is completely gone in the latest update of the game.

I finished buying the games I was missing with the Christmas discounts. One of the best purchases I have made. I love this franchise.

Gamerant has too much time on its hands, an entire article devoted to just one of locker codes in RE2REMAKE

In news that will surprise no-one Resident Evil Re:Verse is to shut down next month
https://www.playstationtrophies.org/...wn-next-month/

Maybe/hopefully this latest failure of Resident Evil multiplayer will finally convince Capcom to permanently ditch multiplayer for a game that doesn't require multiplayer or co-op.

Resident Evil is better off played solo.

Unless it's a remake of Outbreak - which is the one online/co-op game they should be making and always refuse to.

Capcom are so bizarre to me - they always flip flop from either being really in touch with what their fanbase wants or not having a clue.

RE7/RE2/RE4 Remakes were so on point

RE8/RE3 devolved back into action focused and OTT elements.

Capcom tried to launch REVerse which flopped despite fans crying out for Mercenaries modes or Outbreak remakes.

They've been saying for years they're aware people want a Dino Crisis remake... yet they remade Devil May Cry which no one seemed to be asking for. If it were Onimusha I'd understand.

There's literally no consistency. It's like they wake up and roll a dice each day

Hopefully it will finally dissapear from my steam library then. I loathe that they basically forced you to have this in your library if you purchased village.

Heisenberg's factory is the only part of RE8 that devolved into action Heisenberg's factory is better than all of RE6 put together.

RE8 is fine up to that point it's only on the hardest difficulty that Heisenberg's factory gets annoying two parts in particular fighting Heisenberg's Magneto cosplay and that guy with a propeller for a face.

Not being able to heal while driving the tank was annoying the slow reload of the tanks rocket launcher didn't help either.

Here are my tips for playing RE8 on Village of Shadows difficulty based on my playthrough on Village of Shadows difficulty, Heisenberg's factory has the most changes on VOS difficulty

The rest of the game prior to Heisenberg's factory is no different than the lower difficulties.
