I'd rather LAU Remastered in late 2025 co-developed by Crystal, Aspyr and Saber.
New modern Tomb Raider title in 2026 developed by Crystal. New classic-inspired Tomb Raider title in 2027 developed by Aspyr and Saber. Core-era fans got their fix this and last year. It's time to feed the LAU fans and Survivor-era fans, too. The franchise has also been stagnant since 2018, it is time to move it forward. |

I think this could be in the TR Futures section.

Aspyr and Saber have done a fabulous job with remasters but creating original content is a step that they havent proved they can make yet.
If 4-6 remastered sells exceptionally well, outselling 1-3 by a big margin then I guess it is possible. Otherwise I really think this is our lot except patches before they move onto LAU remasters. Core Design era underlined and never revisited again, other than rolling out a dribbling Toby Gard for the 30th anniversary launch of TR12 ![]() |

This would be great and i'm all for it !
Again in their interviews they seem enthusiast about it... if we support anything could happen, maybe DLCs, maybe something new related to AOD etc... Nothing delusional about having such thoughts because we got told back then remasters would never happen and here we are ![]() That being said showing support buying and all can change a lot the rules. I think we will get LAU remasters as well. About TR12 anything "unified" doesn't hype me in any ways i don't really get why we should focus on the reboot trilogy to rewrite the franchise for it's future as it's a decade old with much less games than classics anyway. Tbh i prefer the classic lore much more interesting to me ! Last edited by FantaseaII; 04-02-25 at 14:37. |

AOD 2 it's not going to happen, nobody outside the fandom really cares about AOD.

one thing i understood from these forums is that
some classic fans cant be fed because they would want to rip off your arm next. AoD 2 will never happen unless Crystal dies and the next developer completely resets what Survivor did. and even then it wouldnt really need to happen. as for the other stuff, it will also not happen. |

If AOD doesn't get a sequel (a very likely scenario), perhaps, as part of the inevitable Collector's Edition, they can have Murti write a book of the originally intended trilogy, a fully fleshed-out story. This way, we would finally have an official closure.
