Referral request to the Indiana Jones forums for help
I know this is not the right place to ask for help for any of the Indiana Jones video games, but I can't find any site to get help from, can someone help me please? It's about running Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine on Windows 10 64-bit. It runs perfectly at times, but then it tends to crash at start-up quite a lot. This is the only site closely related to Indy since Tomb Raider and the Indiana Jones franchises are related in the same game genre.

I'll move this to the tech support section, hopefully someone there will see and be able to help you.

which version of the ge do you have? Disc version? GOG version? Did you upgrade your Windows version or your drivers before the issues began? There's a few people around the internet talking about similar issues, but there seems to be a fan made patch floating around somewhere that should fix them. |

Yes, that was the patch I read about.
Do the other versions (Steam/GoG) work for you? I'm afraid I'm not much of help here, if the patch didn't work. |

Oh ok, no neither the Steam or the GOG versions don't work. It would work one time and then the next time, it crashes. Why does it work one time and then it stops working after the first success run of the game when launching it? That's what I would like to know. Do you think it's the coding within the .exe file that's something is wrong with it?

I'm not really sure what could be the case of these random crashes.
I'm on Win 10 x64 as well and mine works like a charm (so far). I do assume that there's some issue in the executable, maybe some unreleased driver handle or so, that corrupts upon the next launch of the game. I don't know if the game writes crash-logs or dumps that could be analyzed. |

Hmmm, an unreleased driver handle? So, how do you try to fix it within the executable? This seems too technical, sorry about that.
