That's weird, I can place just 50 statics but only in one room; while I had 0 problems in how many statics I could place in a level (don't know the esact amount however).

About testing, I'm up for it! PM me or find me in the Discord server if I'm needed

I think the 50 statics per room is a limit just for Dxtre3d. I remember reading in an updated version for the editor that Turbo Pascal increased the limit for statics up to 50. It was a version long before revision L . Static limit was much shorter in the earlier days.


For the total number of statics for a level I'm not sure. I feel like my current level has over 250 in total but I never counted all of them.

I confirm that only 50 statics per room can be placed, the next ones don't render. Before TR2Main, placing more than 50 resulted in a crash because of too many statics.

Now i'm going to count the total amount of statics i have on a level of my game, for science.
I will let you know how many i'm using.

Update: Ok, the max amount per map is totally not 255.
Prepare to laugh. My total number of statics in my Hengshan forest map is 946...

It's fairly detailed, yes. But not like things people make in TRNG.
