The next game needs to be T rated. I've had enough of gore and a cussing Lara.

I'm fine with it being M-rated.
If the very first 1996 TR had realistic graphics it would almost certainly have been classified as mature, purely because of how gory it got towards the end. As much as I rail against the Reboot, it's violence and horror themes are totally appropriate for the brand and something LAU was lacking. I don't want anymore potty mouth Lara though. It's just unappealing and it's out of character. Lara is supposed to have a sangfroid and elegance about her, she doesn't throw frantically panicked s-bombs every time something mildly dangerous happens. |

If they just ignored the ESRB rating, it would of became M rated as the the graphics got better. In fact the more they changed it from the original the worst the game got.

I don’t mind it as long as the game is fun ^.^

I think an M rating works when they don't add things just for the sake of being M. Like, I'm fine with the cursing and violence, but they defo don't need to repeat the bloodbath moments of TR2013 that were really there just to emphasise how they're going in a "darker" direction. If the plot actually calls for violence, then go fo it.

The cannibalism wasn't nonsensical and it was clearly explained what was going on down in the caverns. The plot and the happenings on the island lend themselves to this sort of violence. I am perfectly fine if people are just opposed to violence in general, but to suggest the plot didn't call for it makes no sense to me. In regard to Lara's visceral deaths I personally think it's much better than her being bounced around the room like a ragdoll when hit by a spike like in previous Crystal Dynamics games. At least it makes sense...

Or we could have just had Lara get normally impaled, like the Core Design games, instead of neck-first. And The bloodbath scene is just ripping off a movie scene, Plus the fact that swimming in blood probably isn't exactly healthy. |
