No, no, no and no.
I would never want Lara to be a mother/married/engaged. For Shadow I was hoping they would leave her completely alone enjoying her own adventure, instead she ended up being surrounded by allies and friends. |

This sounds like the complete opposite of what I would want.

Yeah it's a no from me. This is begging for more family drama which TR doesn't need.
Lara isn't someone who I imagine would settle down and have a family. She'd eventually retire and perhaps write down/document all of the adventures she's had and live happily in her home with all the artifacts she's collected over the years. |

I disagree. There are a lot of games that don't require the protagonist to talk every 5 minutes to their allies/"friends", to get help from them etc in Naughty Dog fashion and they're far from boring.

Yeah I don't need to be entertained by the protagonist whilst I play. The gameplay should be doing that. Leave the character building to the cutscenes.

Hello Hntr116, welcome to TRF !
As for your suggestion, I'm afraid I wouldn't be interested or happy with that, sorry ! Your idea could be decent to try on a comic or a novel but I really doubt for an entire game. After three games telling an origin, I would like Lara Croft to be as seasoned and at the best of her capacities as before. Unfortunately your suggestion goes against my wish for the next game, considering playing her daughter would mean another game with an inexperienced heroine. Additional, it would clearly mean a story all about family again and unfortunately it isn't a thing that would excite me, as original your idea is ! |
