Oh my God, this crazy. You guys are not the only ones who find Jedi new order to be a Tomb Raider like game.
The media is actually picking up on it too. Hopefully CD listens to us and them. https://thenextweb.com/gaming/2019/1...b-raider-game/ Quote:
Exactly like I been sayin Edit So I've been watching some reviews and the game is definitely a must by for me. I'm very surprised by EA, the game.is very reminecent of Dark Souls and Tomb Raider. Also the game is selling well currently number 2 in UK region. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/...rder-sales-uk/ Edit Also general reception has been pretty good, people really liking the format and difficulty of the game. I really want someone to tell me how a classic TR formula could never work. Lmao Edit Just added it to my wishlist and look at this. Ah I love it Last edited by charmedangelin; 22-11-19 at 13:12. |

187 hours of Shadow! Wow, Charmed!
Although to be fair I have like 160 on the reboot. |

Yeah but different from the reboot automatic.
Reboot, Lara's arch changes to grab the ledge, it very, very much does not change in AOD, I have a few experiences of constantly being JUST unable to grab that ledge in Bouchard's hideout that you need to push a crate under. In AOD all that's automatic is not pressing action. Yes you don't press action but the thing everyone complains about (Lara magnetizing to ledges) is not present. |

Playing SWJFA and the traversal is very much like modern TR. I'm not sure it really improves much on TR though. Uses the same type of mechanics and so forth.

You have way more hours than me in Shadow.
Embarrassingly enough I have over 500 hours in Angel of Darkness lol |

There's a large optional tomb/dungeon area with more puzzles. The area reminded me of shipwreck beach except you actually get to explore the wreckage. Really good area that is easily kissable as you can't access it until near the endgame.
