Default Remove or modify gun smoke

So i'm using a machine gun in the shotgun slot for my next saga. Is there a way using either NG_Center or FLEP to remove or modify the gun smoke?

Here is a way to delete gun flash mesh, if you have the data file.
Assume this is a TR4 game but this can be done for TR1, 2, 3, and 4.

Tools required are Pixstr and 3D Metasequoia....


Another method, but not as good....
Note that if you do not have 3D meta, you could just texture the gun flash an invisible texture while in PixStr, but will conflict with the machine gun textures when flash happens, and not look as good.
The best method is to take the gun flash mesh away completely.

There's a FLEP patch that makes you choose the Y position of the smoke, it's in Weapon Customizer->Shotgun Smoke Puff Y Position
Now I don't know which value you should use, but I'd say some value that makes it appear under the floor height, so that the player won't see

There's one problem though, if you want to use this patch for only one level you can't because it's global for all the levels

Indeed, it's the smoke I need to remove, I actually added the gunflash using FLEP

Loch suggested the same thing to me, LoreRaider, but I didn't even see that option lol

So i'll check back in Flep to find it
