Question Midas’s Palace Relics

I remember clearly the TIMED (I think about 45 seconds) run for the Griffin-Head Protome Relic when I first played TRA years ago. This time I decided not even to try for it. I wanted to get all the relics, but go soooo frustrated with this one. I ended up - cheating - and got a “gamer “ friend to get it. (FYI - He hadn’t played the game before, but got it in the second try. Grrrrrr. ).

Anyone else had trouble with this one?

Is this the one in the fire pillar room? Yep, had a lot of trouble with this one. The timing was so tight. I did once manage it when the fire didn't light.

Yes. Glad you got it. I tried and tried and tried my first time playing years ago, BUT, could never get there in time. Soooo frustrating at the time as I was trying to get all the relics. As I mentioned, I got a “gamer” friend to get it so I had them all for the game.

That one was a bitch. I think I got it twice, but failed many times.

The one was a challenge!! Not so difficult that I ever rage quit or anything, though. Even though L/A/U are generally a lot easier than the classics, Crystal was really good at cleverly hiding secrets.
