The cinematography looks gorgeous and my god the soundtrack.

Looks pretty good. Great visuals, music and cinematography. I don't watch monster films that much; this one might be worth it.

That's Clair de Lune by Debussy.

Great juxtaposition of the destruction with that haunting music.

There's a lot of teases that have come out since. For instance, they're using the original Showa-era roars for Ghidorah, Rodan and Mothra as the base for their new roars. Even Godzilla apparently uses some of the 1954 roars.

The score is being done by Bear McCreary, using the themes from the scores of Akira Ifukube (you could actally hear the new take on the Godzilla march at Tokyo Comic Con last year).

My initial hope that they might keep the creatures in shroud for a while didn't hold out, but in all honesty, I think seeing them in their glory just builds the hype up even more.

There can never be enough for me.

But ghi-DOR-rah? Japanese is not iambic. Might as well say "ee-do."

Thanks for the update. Cannot wait for it to be released- says May 31, 2019. Will see this one for sure. Says a cross-over one schedule for 2020 release tentatively. My sister loves all the Godzilla movies (and has lots of the really old ones that came out on VHS lol.
