I've tried to experiment and check through this thread for help but as a newcomer to this plugin, it is not easy to understand the jest of things when you only have small brief explanations for commands and references, which is not ideal when there is no set examples to learn how to set things up accordingly.

This is why I think there should be at least a guided introduction on the first post to set up a couple of things that have been repeatedly asked in this thread since it began and I think it would help benefit everyone:

How To Setup The Stopwatch (Statistics)

How To Setup The Options (Passport, Headset, Controls & Sunglasses)

How To Add/Remove Items

How To Setup How Items Display

How To Setup Inventory Lighting

How To Setup Sprite Pickups (Not sure if you can have sprites in world like in TR1/TR2 instead of 3D objects and not just show on screen)

I feel these are asked quite often in the thread and having a guide for each on the first post of this thread would really help avoid repeated questions and would be very useful for people to learn from but I am sorry if I sound so whiny saying all this as I have everyones interest in mind.

An example is this well setup Tutorial from AODFan which made it very easy to understand.

I'm trying to implement TR1-2 styled sprites when Lara pickup some objects but looks like something is wrong
I'm using custom_sprites slot along with param_show_sprite for showing the sprite instead of the 3D item, but the game shows a white cube of the size I've chosen instead of showing the sprite
So I've checked the param_show_sprite script alone and it works as it should

If it helps, I'm using the latest dev build

Here's the script that I'm using:

The slot ID of CUSTOM_SPRITES is 494.

Also sprite IDs start at 0, in case your sprite is the first one.

I thought I had to use param_show_sprite as well, it works now, thanks

The only small issue now is that I have a zoom on the sprite which I would like to remove, is it possible to or not yet?

Is it possible to create a 4th row of items?
(At example, 1 is key items, 2 is usable items, 3 is menu items and 4th for something else) ?

You can have up to 10 rings. Use CUST_CINV_ITEM_RING to assign items to a specific one.

Ring names can be changed using CUST_CINV_RING.

Is it possible to create a dark coloured shadow like in the TR3 Menu ring? I'm also wondering how you setup the page SFX for the passport.

I posted this question elsewhere but I think it could now be plugin related due the crash texts.

I can only push and pull blocks with a 20% randomized success rate. This happens when CTRL is held and I press UP OR DOWN. the game will decide to crash.

This happens...at complete random and its driving me mental. There doesnt seem to be a trick to it - it works when it wants to.

Let's say if I load a level and its deciding to WORK - If I reload that save 100 times and push the same block it will work fine! But the moment I close and reopen tomb4. Itll crash when I try to push it...or not!

The crash texts state ClassicInventory.
