TR4: mummies, pyramids, sand, statues of naked women, more sand, more pyramids
TR5+AOD: both games raised the bar for the TR series and gaming in general, both games had the best stories in the TR series, both games had more references in media and pop culture... this now leads me to rank the top 3 best TR games in the series: #1: AOD #2: TRII #3: TR5 and thats the tea Top 3 worst: TRA TR4 TRA HD Playstation3 version |

Yep . If it ever gets referenced , Chronicles gets a mention of how to make cheap filler cash grab soulless games . As for AOD , it sure gets more references in media and pop culture so I can't argue with that , impressively it always manages to make it to literally every single list titled "Games that nearly killed their own franchises" or "Bad games in otherwise great franchises"out there , here's something to be proud of

Chronicles is purely the best. Quote:
I can understand disliking AOD but I don't get whats to dislike about TR5. A game full of flashbacks, new gadgets, new moves, new wardrobes, new stories and a better look at who Lara Croft is. |

Which would make sense . There isn't even a "gap" that needed filling between TR4 and AOD , take the ending FMV of chronicles and slap it at the beginning of AOD as intro and it would've done the business of justifying Lara's "return to life" for those who remember her allegedly being buried alive in the previous game . |
