Transparency
Hi!
I would like to know how would one make parts of a mesh invisible by making textures transparent(for example: making a texture transparent (alpha) to make a single arm dissapear). I can already make this happen on some models, but on others part of a mesh that I apply transparency to texture just turns black. Last edited by zmajtolovaj; 18-04-13 at 18:27. |

So I swapped the heads of the default batman head with the new 52 head from injustice. There was no problem during it. But when I export it as old generic format it says it works but when I open it this shows up

I feel like this may be a redundant or stupid question, but I'll give it a go. I went ahead and downloaded Blender, but my version is 2.67b. My question is will the importer, exporter, and converting scripts posted for XNALara work with this version? Or am I better off switching to later versions?
Nonetheless, thank you for the links. It's been fun toying around with these. I haven't touched a 3D program in years, haha. |

If the mesh mod has been made with merging models in XPS, I don't know :S
But if it were made in another program (Blender or 3ds max), I suppose that the next step, is go there and check them. In 3ds max, check that the face has the skin modifier, and that this modifier, has all those facial bones. And those bones which fail, select them to see if they are skinned correctly. If not, it's time to re-rig them. Another possible case, is that there were 2 or more bones with the same name. In such case, that can cause conflict and provoke errors like that. So if you have a previouse save of the mesh mod, try check it also to see that there are not 2 bones with the same name. I don't know what else could be... O.ò |
