Editing the "Main.sfx" file
How can i edit the Main.sfx file ? ... replace files...
Extract files... and reuse them in tr3 .... i know its possible ... i just dont know how... Edit : TR2 too |

You can edit them, but you need to edit the level files accordingly.

Really? I thought the offsets of each sample were stored in the level files.

Hi,
I thought about this thread and decided to make a little program to edit the sfx files more easily. It was so small I wrote it in a day. The "Tomb Raider II/III SFX Editor" can be downloaded from my website (under Tomb Raider > Tools) if anybody is still interested in editing the main.sfx file. Enjoy |
