On a side note, it looks like the devs might be implementing 60fps soon from seeing the various different branches currently being worked on. Last edited by Kirishima; 20-02-24 at 05:57. |

The normal "Window size" render mode renders at your desktop resolution and then scales to the chose resolution (basically). The Framebuffer render mode actually will render the game in your chosen resolution. So it's a more accurate rendering if you choose a resolution different from your desktop and will also help performance on super old systems. It's more in line with how other games behave and how you'd expect it to behave. The "Window size" rendering is the default since TR1X started as decompiled TombATI and that's how the renderer behaves in that.

Hello, is there a way to stop the creation of TR1X.log every time I run the game?

A rude solution to stop the log actually exists: setting read-only attributes to the file. But it's not important. Many many thanks to the developers! It's fantastic to play TR1 with this tool! |

Hey everyone, over the last few days I've been porting TR1X to macOS and Apple Silicon/arm64.
Starting to work pretty well :-) I could use some testers for this, especially also for x86 Mac owners a bit later on as I only have a M1 Max myself. Feel free to speak up if this means you. Last edited by Sho; 24-02-24 at 11:23. |
