Pexioto patch doesn't touch the .tr4 data files.
And Pexioto confirm it works on all tomb4.exe.

But still, how would you make resized textures without having the dump of them? It is about *.tr4, not about .exe

No they are not, my textures are 128x128.
Most tiles in the TGA are 256x256, or even originally 521x521 (rocks), but I have not applied any in 256x256 format.

Also, if it works on TR4/TRLE tomb4.exe, doesn't mean it'll also work on the TRNG tomb4.exe since Paolone made some changes to it.

Go see Pexioto's tool and the description.
And further more the TR2 & TR5 HD threads.

I'm thinking of all meta2tr tiles being 256x256.

It does. I tested on The Mist: Resurrection's tomb4.exe.
Another 4 hours before completion.

Well, feel free to try and use it on MoA2 then when it is released.

Just know that I'll not be providing higher resolution textures.
This project is taking me enough time already as it is.

Talking

Something I've been working on these past days: a new quadbike model for the racetrack at the manor.

And just for the fun of it:

^
That said, I'm not quite sure yet what colour I'm going to end up with.
I have recoloured the green to red and blue as well.
And to some weird brown...

The model is based on a model I found on the internet somewhere but I had to simplify the model a LOT to make it work in the wad.
Textures were taken from yet another model.
Not much left of those original textures though: I am not able to give the bike more detailed texturing without killing the wad...
So if I do want more detailed textures in the end, I'll have to do it with Meta2TR.
But this looks fine for now imo.

So... progress is very slow, but I am still working on this.
I have to start one more level and I hope it will indeed be one level...
It's going to be the final Avalon level.
And after that it'll be making cutscenes, dotting the i's in all the levels, and last but not least, Meta2TR work on all levels... So still sooooooo much to do.

I think the green suits the model. Great work on it!

No matter the color Titak, it is gorgeous!

That quadbike looks amazing. I haven't even completed First Clues. Maybe I should sometime.
Seeing stuff like this prevents me from giving up TRLE for good.
