Define Lara-like in character. I feel most here would choose Core-Lara, but I feel it's more nuanced than that. Given some more thought, I think most would break it down game by game, or separate the eras. Is TR1 more Lara because she's the first and original? Or is TRLR and TRC more so because Core put more effort in to flesh her character out? I'm not sure I can choose one particular era, lumping all the Laras together, even though they're supposed to be the same version within that era. I also highly agree with Mr Bear's comments.

The more Lara Croft is naturally the one in TR1. I mean, she's the og.

Going to go a bit against the grain and say LAU
I actually agree with this: https://www.pcgamer.com/amp/tomb-rai...mpression=true Legend Lara is also my personal favourite. @Rai... I've defined 'Lara like' as my favourite. Last edited by moodydog; 29-09-20 at 16:47. |

The question makes no sense.

Core Lara obviously because she's the original Lara, the one who established what Lara Croft means and all other Lara's will be compared to her in their Lara-ness.
Here's how I'd rank them:

Well it's obviously going to be the original, as the blueprint for the character that most (not all) others have followed.

Top Cow Lara, followed closely by Alicia Vikander.
After that I'd say - Core, Survivor, AJ, LAU, Dark Horse. I don't mind Dark Horse's take on Lara, it's just that I literally can't remember a defining moment from those comics. |
