What did happened that they got so uninspired for the names ?
![]() "Secret of the sword" was a nice name but then "temple and tombs" was already a little dumb and now "tomb of the sun" feels like they picked up random words ![]() Does anyone played one of those before ? How is it ?? I thought the visuals were always very nice ! ![]() |

The original Tomb Raider JPM Fruit Machine from 2002 was kinda fun I suppose. For what it is.
Then in 2004 we had Tomb Raider (Slots) which was very basic. 2008 brought Secret of the Sword which was the best in my opinion. It was based around TRL and had a few mini games where you hunt for pieces of Excalibur and have a shoot out with Amanda. It also had some very fun voice clips from Lara during the game too. 2019 brought Temples and Tombs which was only just "Look at the pretty pictures go brrrr" with an occasional sound clip from Lara going like "Oh my!!!", "Nice!" when you get a multiplier. And now in 2023 comes Tomb of the Sun, you can already play the demo/free version of it. And it is pretty much Temples and Tombs copypasted with a few assets looking different. Currently there are no voice clips in it at all. I assume those will be present when the "game" launches officially at the end of Jun. |

I actually remember playing the first Tomb Raider video slot when it came out. The Lara Croft-themed games from Microgaming have always had decent graphics and gameplay. They've always had that adventurous vibe that makes you feel like you're in the game.
However, despite all the advancements and fancy graphics, I've found myself leaning more towards classic slots. My go-to is usually Thunder God, which I play on joker123. It doesn't have the flashy graphics or storylines, but the gameplay is solid and it gives me that old-school casino feel that I love. Last edited by abbath81; 07-09-23 at 18:29. |

For anyone interested, my submissions for Tomb Raider (Slots), Lara Croft Temples and Tombs and Lara Croft Tomb of the Sun have just been added to Flashpoint. Secret of the Sword was submitted by someone else.
In their current state, the games are not really playable. Each spin reads data from a specific file. That file gets new data from the server on each spin. At the moment, the specific logic for data generation is unknown. But you can manually add data to that file before each spin to have the desired outcome in the game. And if nothing else, this way all the assets from these games are now preserved too for what it's worth. |
