Getting HQ FMV''s to work with TombAti?

Hey guys, so I've been playing around with my install and I was curious of how to get high quality fmvs to work. I have version 1.2 which supports fmv playback but when I try to load the high quality fmvs it says I need to install a codec. Thing is I'm running the latest version of windows 10 with all the updates installed.

Is there some way to get these to work? I looked and saw some complaints about the website the game says where to download the codecs. I don't want to download anything I don't need or download something that may break my windows installation in some way.

Advice would be great, thanks guys.
