Oh, what is a "not GOG" Tomb Raider 5? All retail versions not from GOG?

Yes. I've got a quite complete IDA database for TR5 PC, that I'm using for the decompilation project (see other thread), but that database is for the GOG executable since it's the one I had when I started working on it. Currently, I'm in a "feature adding" stage, and when enough features will be working, I will start adding support for other versions of TR5, and maybe even other TR games.

A bit of an offtopic question, but would that database help in any way in making a WAD editor for TR5, and/or *.TOM compiler for that game? We have room editor for TR5 but we don't have neither wads nor tomb2pc equivalent, making it useless.

We do, but it's broken? The lightbulb icons are off... which makes it useless too.

Monty's editor will very likely support TR5 soon.

If you want more info about the inner workings of TR5, you can simply check the decompilation project repository, around 40% of the game is already decompiled and that includes most of the game-related (non-platform-specific) code so you may find what you're looking for.

It should very well be possible to decompile tom2pc or the wad editor to make them compatible for TR5, but with the soon coming release of Tomb Editor, which will soon support TR5, I don't think it would be useful.

Which is honestly preferable. They fixed a lot of bugs in the TR5 engine, and made massive improvements to the animation system. We should really be working with that, not TR4.

The idea has already been planted and it is very likely to happen. Despite differences in TR5 level format it is still close to TR4 and I argued that if TombEditor compiler was to support other TRs, it's best to start with TR5 support.

But TRNG features are first in the line.

No it isn't. It works great on Windows 98se and apparently some compatibility settings can make it work on newer systems too.
