Hello everyone!
After a very long time of inactivity, I dedicated a bit to my custom level, and managed to finish all the rooms in Level 2!
Level 2 is 90% Complete: I just need to tweak a bit the decorations, script one last thing, fix some little bugs and write the diary entries, and then I will be completely done!

The only levels I will have left will be Level 3, 4 and 5, that will be short so they won't take as much!

Here is the preview of one of the last rooms(since I wanted to show something):


And here is the updated 2D Map: As you can see, the level was so big that I had to split it into different heights to make it in a single level




I hope you like the news, and I hope the level will be worth your wait

PS: Regarding betatesting, I will let my 6 Betatesters(that already tested the first level) to test the levelset when the adventure will be completely finished. Maybe I will see if I can get 1-2 Extra betatesters that can play the levelset for the first time, from scratch.

Thanks! I love to make very big levels, even if it is very difficult and stressful at times

Hello everyone!
After a long time of work, fixing bugs, and all the matter, I finally completed the second level!
I am really proud of what I did, and I feel I am really getting closer to the ending of this adventure.



What is left?
Well, the last 3 levels(that are short) are what is left to do before release.

When is the release date?
Since I am busy with exams this month and I won't be available in august, I think I will manage to finish my custom level by end of september, if nothing bad happens in the way.

Why is Level 2 99% despite you saying it's finished?
It was just a way for me to remember that I have to write the diary entries for that level, so don't really bother about that

Okay so, it's time to summarize data regarding my levelset.

I did two runs each for both levels. Moreover, level 1 was also betatested so have some info from watching betatesters play(you were one of those)

1st Level: My Playthrough(Speedrun): Approx. 12 Minutes
Rules for this one:
-Don't pickup anything that is not mandatory
-Don't get secrets
-Always Sprint when can, jump, flare cancel etc...
-Pistol Only
-Glitchless
-Optimized Route(the route that I found being the shortest to complete the level). Being this my level, I already know where to go.


1st Level: My Playthrough(100%): Approx. 32 Minutes
Rules for this one:
-Pickup all items in the level
-Get all secrets in the level
-Kill all enemies in the level
-Any Weapon picked up is allowed
-Always Sprint when can, jump, flare cancel etc...
-Glitchless
-Optimized Route(the route that I found being the shortest to complete the level). Being this my level, I already know where to go.

1st Level: Average Betatesters Time: Approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Rules for this one:
-Not everything got picked up
-Not all secrets got found
-More casual gameplay(not sprinting everytime, not jumping everything)
-Any weapon picked up is allowed
-Glitchless
-No Route(the gameplay is blind/first time, so people had to explore all the level to find the way to go)

2nd Level: My Playthrough(Speedrun): Approx. 14 Minutes
Rules for this one:
-Don't pickup anything that is not mandatory
-Don't get secrets
-Always Sprint when can, jump, flare cancel etc...
-Pistols only
-Using many medikits during fights(to save time, but it is not how the game was designed)
-Glitchless
-Optimized Route(the route that I found being the shortest to complete the level). Being this my level, I already know where to go.

2nd Level: My Playthrough(100%): Approx. 34 Minutes
Rules for this one:
-Pickup all items in the level
-Get all secrets in the level
-Kill all enemies in the level
-Any Weapon picked up is allowed + All weapons that could be found in Level 1
-Always Sprint when can, jump, flare cancel etc...
-Glitchless
-Optimized Route(the route that I found being the shortest to complete the level). Being this my level, I already know where to go.





Hope this was clear enough. Honestly I was surprised that Level 1 and Level 2 have a very similiar play time, despite them being way more different in size. For sure Level 2 will be longer for new players compared to Level 1, as I already knew where to go to get my juicy pickups
(EDIT: Also in level 2 there is way more space to sprint and jump, saving a lot of time. Moreover I didn't implement diary entries in level 2 yet, so there are still some pickups left)
