The game is on again, then. I wonder if that means future Bethesda game will be Xbox/PC exclusives...

I highly doubt Bethesda will willingly give up the cheese they make off of PlayStation and Switch players. What I've read suggests this is more to do with Game Pass than anything else.

Yeah this is pretty insane. Sony charging $70 for first party games wheras you can get every game from these developers (past & future), in addition to all of Microsoft's current exclusives, for $15 with Gamepass.
I'm sure they'll raise the price but even something like $40 (Which it definitely won't be) would be a great deal considering the huge library you'd have access to. |

This is quite shocking news. Never in a million years did I think that Microsoft could pull big moves like that. Indeed, what a fantastic purchase of a big publisher especially one at that price. I'll have to cancel my PS5 pre-order and get a Xbox Series X now.

It's sad that Microsoft bought Bethesda. It would be awful if future Bethesda games (like Doom) were Xbox exclusives.

Make no mistake, I suspect that MS will make most, if not all of Bethesda's games exclusive moving deep into the next generation. This is a big win for the company.

What's funny is for the past few months, there've been rumors that Sony was trying to secure timed exclusivity for a huge, upcoming title. That title ended up being Starfield, which Microsoft now owns
