In the TEXMOD dialog box, after clicking on the "Logging Mode" button, make sure you have removed the check marks from the boxes for "Draw Control and Texture Info", and from the "Alternative Method" box.

You should have check marks in the boxes for "Show Texture in upper left corner" and for the box "Replace Texture (with green texture).

For output format I prefer TGA (TEXMOD default is BMP), and for th "Log with" option I prefer the F12 key.

No, just the ones that appear in bullet time sequences and when you're swinging on a rope. The IC arrows are still there, although I do have a mod to remove those in case anybody's interested.

Yes. Remember to only paint the Alpha channel black - changing the RGB channels will simply change the texture. A black Alpha channel means the texture is invisible, a white one the opposite. You can also create patterns by blanking out specific parts of a texture or make see-through textures by using grey.

Without sounding like to much of a noob (which I'm not ), how do I access the Alpha channels? Supposedly I'd have to dump the textures in TGA format (instead of BMP which I use now), right? Just making sure
