Default Export animations from TR1 original into Blender?

Is there a way of exporting animations from Tomb Raider 1 into Blender? I've seen WADmerge and there's also this topic: https://www.tombraiderforums.com/sho...d.php?t=111294 but I'm not 100% certain of the process. I want to get the animations from the game into Blender and eventually Unity to experiment with the player model as accurately as possible,by manually setting up the animations clips and trees of course, but I'd like to get the same animations as the game uses.

Daro Anim Maker by DaroRaider can export animations in milkshape format (ms3d) which can be imported into Blender 2.79.
Here's the thread for the tool https://www.tombraiderforums.com/sho...d.php?t=195457 - check towards the end of the thread for the latest version.
I don't know if Blender 2.8 already has a working milkshape / ms3d plugin (but probably yes).
