The Greek ampitheatres tend to only have seats around one half of the "pit" where the play would be performed, with the stage and staging area where the other half would be, while Colosseum-style Roman arenas would have seats all round and be much bigger.

The TR1 Colosseum kind of looks like a cross between the two in ways but it definitely resembles a Roman arena more.

"About 230 Roman amphitheatres have been found across the area of the Roman Empire."
And the Roman Empire included what is today known as Greece.

Yes, that's why I differentiated between "Greek ampitheatres" and the Roman-style ones. I'm aware the Romans did build things wherever they colonised, that's what empires generally do.

I guess in that sense you could technically justify TR1's Colosseum level looking more Roman than Greek, but there is a difference.

The developers of TR1 never put that much thought into it. In the words of Toby Gard: 'ah, Romany-Greeky... I didn't care...'
