Ugh, my business transcribing audios is over. I have no way of earning money right now. I've been handing my CVs around my town these days and I'm completely hopeless, they all rejected me or told they only accept them via web. I need a job, I can't go to uni and I have to do something. Only small chinese bazaars have accepted them and I'm not sure if it's because they are interested or they're just playing nice.
Also, my 'official work experience' is non existent besides my internship and other small stuff I've done. I feel like if somebody's gonna take me is because they want to exploit me lol. The only good thing I have is my languages skill, I can talk in English, French and Greek, but I have a friend working here whom I had to give English lessons, she couldn't even pronounce strawberry properly when little children at school are learning this basic vocabulary; so apparently my only good skill is not that important. SIGH. Should I pay attention to those Grindr 70yo guys that wanna have fun in exchange of 200euros???????? |

Bad....work just called me because they are short (nursing), but it's my day off. I don't really want to work, but I am a new graduate/team member started back in october.
I'm just tired and need my break. for a few days |

To this day, I include my job experience when I was a student; and I got several jobs because of it. (tho, I have to say, I'm working since the age of 14) Quote:
I don't know how old are you, but if you are under 30, there is a really good possibility to gain professional experience/(pocket)money, also all of this abroad, or in your country. Like me: I applied to several volunteer organizations : animal shelter in America, teaching english (only my certification of knowing english was needed) in africa, working in a library in Germany, working with disabled people in France (that's what I did for a year) and so on. There are tons of posibilities. I only had to pay : 150euros for participating in a seminar and 60euros for travelling to France. I took 2x1 year of voluntary service (not in the same place or field) On my first year, i got almost 500euros each month+ reduced prices on tickets (mainly for travelling, but was applied to several stores and establishments) and had to pay 120euros/month for rent (which was located for me, fully furnished, with TV and internet) The second year paid me 200euros/month, still had reduced prices, a whole floor only for me: fully furnished, with internet access and food 3 times a day. And guess what? I got a job in France and living there for more than 5 years now. My point is, it is a great opportunity, you might be interested in stuff like this. Edit: I went to France without speaking the language and was in an area, where no one spoke german/english/my mother tounge. Quote:
But you could either register as an escort, so you don't have to do anything but look good for 500euros /night Or you could be an adult camera model. Last edited by Zsott; 26-01-20 at 19:45. |

Thanks for your comment. That's quite a life lol
I've been volunteering too in my island, but no money in exchange and right now it's impossible for me to take a plane. I also have taught English and French this summer, but no one needs my services right now. Anyway, you just made think of an idea, thanks. I have seriously considered selling my body, I have no moral conflicts, but I'd be too scared in those situations, you never know what your clients would do if they think they hold power over you and safety comes first |

Grandma will be coming home Monday from the hospital. She is able to breath and walk around now. Hopefully no one gets sick anymore.

I'm so sorry you're going through it again. I've ran into some pretty bad stuff that affected my personal life a week and half ago, and it just sent me into a downward spiral, and got me into a pretty depressive mood (I don't want so say outrigh "depression" because people have it way worse than me). I felt like crying all the time, could barely eat or hold food in my stomach, because I feel hopeless in the current situation I'm at. I'm doing a bit better this week, so there's always that.
So, please stay strong and believe that it get better eventually. Whatever it's bringing you down, you're strong to overcome it. Stay strong and keep going |

More of a thought than a feeling, but hey ho. I've been unemployed for a month now and it's concerning that one day pretty much bleeds into another and before you know it, another week has gone by and you've done absolutely naff all. I need to get out of this rut and soon.
