I hope the globe trotting is true, hoping to see varied climates.

I wonder what or if the next film will have a subtitle. So far, Cradle of Life is the only one of the three with a subtitle.

I think it could be Tomb Raider II, wouldn't mind a subtitle though.

I kind of think TOMB RAIDER 2 would be the best, tbh.

Look, not to rain on everyone's parade, but technically the first movie also had globetrotting, since Lara's journey happened in the UK, Hong Kong and Yamatai, and that, if they continue to be more inspired by the games, RotTR happened in the UK, Syria and Siberia.

What I am saying is: don't necessarily expect Lara to necessarily travel all around the globe, and for the movie to not have a main location.

There is some things I would like to see too if they include some extra locations, a look at the interior of Croft Manor would be nice, a tropical climate, deserts, Arctic environments.

If they don't do the globe trotting I definitely want a visually different environment that is a lot more striking in appearance than the first film and I definitely want to see some interior scenes from Croft Manor, they filmed ones for the first but didn't use them in the final cut.

Am I the only one that would actually prefer one main location rather than several? I feel like it's more focused that way and the storytelling is tighter.

I say 2018 benefitted from that. Globe trotting hurts all sorts of movies, like take Justice League. The film can’t be consistently: got to go to there to get that McGuffin etc.

Only type of globe trotting id approve of is like it opening in one location for a plot point but 20 Mins max at it, 1 hour 20 in main location and maybe... just maybe 20 mins in final location.

Even with 2018 That felt right but even then I wanted more Hong Kong but couldn’t cut island or London time.
