Tomb Raider 1 + 2 for Android cancelled?

I opened the Google Play Store to see if TR1 and TR2 were in sale, because I have €0,25 earned with Google Opinion Rewards.

I noticed that they're disappeared! I also can't find them from Google, so I guess that they've been cancelled from the Play Store...but It's very strange. Why did they do that? I can't understand.

No one knows. They didn't give any explanation and ignore questions regarding it. =/

You are better off playing it on your phone via emulation.

Sure, there's emulation, but playing them with HD textures and 1080p resolution is a lot better.

I guess people have their preferences. I think playing the game in its original setting has its own charm, and besides, I don't see the need to play the old TRs in 1080p as they don't have a lot of details. Playing it in 1080p makes the lack of detail more apparent.

Such a shame they removed the games from the playstore though.

The people who did the port are probably mad that their project was shutdown.

Necroposting but does anyone know what were the latest versions of these two games on playstore before they were removed?

For TR 1, originally I thought it was 1.0.27RC, but then I saw 1.0.39RC APK floating around. And earlier today I accidentally stumbled on some posts that say that 1.0.42RC was the latest version of TR1 before it was removed.

For TR 2 I believe the last version was 1.0.48RC?
