15 years already? My, how time flies. As far love/hate relationships go - I never hated TR Anniversary, I just didn't see the need to change Lara origin story, and a few other items.

I still really like Anniversary
![]() Legend's control scheme was really satisfying so taking that and adding more complex level design was a winning combination. At least, to me. A lot of people don't like Anni but it was the last TR game I fully enjoyed. There's to you, Tomb Raider: Anniversary ♡ I'm glad you exist.

Despite being pretty straightforward, Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a gorgeous game, in my opinion. Some of the level design is breathtaking (Greece and Egypt, for instance). It's always an enjoyable game to play from time to time, like Legend, and I think it aged well. And yeah, I also don't understand why this game gets some hateful comments sometimes, but whatever...

I'm replaying Tomb Raider 1 right now, and I'm thinking I'll fire up Anniversary right afterward just so I can make a direct comparison.
