I never tested the steam version, i supposed it would work assuming it was the same as the GOG version, could you try the multi patch? i believe the installer won't recognize the steam installation but you can use 7zip to extract the files, you will need the files in

trupdate.exe\$COMMON_DESKTOPDIRECTORY\Tomb Raider Update Files\TR2

and the folder audio with all it's files in

trupdate.exe\$HWNDPARENT\

if the game fails to start, use command -setup to adjust settings

again, come back to tell me if it works

I copy these files in their folders. The game starts but its the same. Same number, 1200, same log :/

Don't loose hope (yet) my friend, download the patch form the dropbox link

open the ini file(Tomb2fix.ini) and set

endSceneFix=True

also try the game with command -noscreenfix (might solve the black bars)

Nope. No HD textures, no videos, black bars.

I may end up finding and fixing bugs as I release other patches because they all will use the same tools, but for now I'm out of ideas.

Ok, tomorrow I'll try the game in my sister's computer with Windows 7. I hope that works

My game in my sister's computer work perfect, videos, textures, all of it. She is using Windows 7. The log is correct and the number that appears is 1024.

But not in my computer

EDIT: So I've installed the game in G:\ directory but doesn't work. But if I move the game to C:\ directory the game works with videos and textures in Windows 8 with black bars. I see two big black bars in the border of the game at full screen mode.

EDIT2: I use this http://community.pcgamingwiki.com/fi...en-border-fix/ to fix the borders in Windows 8. The game works fine (videos, textures, etc) in Windows 8 if i'ts located in C:\

Thanks for the feedback, i will add thins info in the help in the next update for people how may find similar trouble...

the G drive bug is quite curious, since in my computer the game is installed in the G drive

NOTE FOR EVERYONE: that last update improved the speed of texture replacement... download it
