Hello everybody
the following messages have been appearing for a few days: "GetBoxOverlap (): Too many overlaps" and then "Invalid Box number in zones ??" if I continue then I have the possibility to ignore this message and the compilation goes on. Question: is there anyone who has discovered the cause of these messages to understand how to intervene? Hello and thanks Franky |

Yes. Enemies use boxes and overlaps to find the path to where they want to go. Boxes and overlaps aren't things you can control yourself directly, they're invisible and generated based on your geometry. When there are too many of them, enemies will stop working correctly: they will run into walls instead of running to Lara. To fix this you need to simplify your geometry.
Here's a link that explains how boxes and overlaps are generated, it can help to understand. https://www.tombraiderforums.com/sho...90#post7594990 |

Like Joey said, enemies use it to find the path to where they want to go.
When having too many boxes they will run in one direction only, ignoring slopes and all that, and completely ignoring Lara as well. So enemies can become completely useless.
