I guessed, but for me no thanks
I'm just done with them repeating mistakes over and over again no matter what era we are in. Quote:
But EM comes along and in just one game they managed what CD didn't in 10 years. Well ok, they did get it right with GOL but everything they learned (and were praised for) with that game was completely forgotten in the next pillar releases. They have always been able to deliver good TR experiences when they care enough to try, but they just chose never to do so. And that's why I'm so sick of them. They have the potential, they just don't have the interest. EM on the other hand tried their best with the restrictions they had. They gave us what we wanted as much as they could. They brought back colourful and rich environments, they got rid of white ledges, they tried making a more bad ass Lara, they focused on exploration and platforming, we got puzzles as priorities back, we got more focus on supernatural elements, they brought back final bosses, they brought back, they brought back the focus on ancient locations/temples/tombs, they gave us photo mode when we asked for it, they are at least trying to remove the outfit restriction, etc. There's so much more I could mention but I think that's enough. And like I've said countless times in the past: if CD deserved another chance at TR after TRU (and frankly not just TRU because they messed up in one way or another in every release) then EM deserve another shot after Shadow. CD has had a chance to learn from their mistakes for over a decade, and they never truly did... not really. I don't expect the next game to be any different. Yes, the work EM has done is amazing, but let's not ignore that they were the devs, of the plan CD had already traced. In fact, SOTTR left CDs hands once the Avengers was put in theirs

If CD had planned to give us any of the things I posted like the optional white ledges they would have done it yearssss ago, way before the reboot. |

Does anyone know if I can play the classics on a fairly recent Macbook? Why is TR2 the only classic TR on the App Store?

Back in the day, all of the classics (including AoD) were available on Mac, but they stopped working with later versions of MacOS. I too own a MacBook and would love to play the classics on it |

People keep on hating Windows but something that I think we can all agree with is that it has a pretty amazing backwards compatibility. It can still run games dating as far as 1996/7 for as long as they have 32-bit executables. Quite incredible.
