Roths pistols are in there. Come on now ffs. What is she waiting for? It better be Shadow. Reboot Lara loves that exact leather jacket, she wore it in the Rise announcement trailer, the Movie, and now in the comics.

Those who read the comics may recognise Ana as the woman talked about in the comic or know just how involved Trinity have been in Lara's life since Yamtai etc. But we must consider that though the comics must be doing reasonably well for CD and Dark Horse to keep them going, there are plenty of game players who may not even be aware of them. Kaz can't suddenly be mentioned, for example, as players who haven't read them will be confused. And Lara can't be too different as the comics are mostly standalone and the stories can't directly contradict the games. Imagine if Jonah and Lara had started talking about saving Grim's brother In Mexico, people who hadn't read the comics, would probably be wondering "wth?" I've rambled enough already. I just like that the comics exist and are an insight into what is going on in Lara's life between games, even if they are only fun side stories with the odd small clues. |

Do you guys think the sword on her back is a hint to her future fighting skills? She's been going through a lot of training over the past few comics set after ROTR. There's also the leaked concept art that had Lara wielding a machete?
Here's the sword she's wielding: Does that mean we'll finally get other melee weapons? |
