Tomb Raider: Redux
I've posted plenty on my YouTube over the years, but I don't believe I've actually posted anything about it on here! And people keep asking me about the progress on the project, so here we go. I present to you:
A (yet another!) remake/reimagining of the original Tomb Raider, inspired by Core Design's unreleased Anniversary Edition, along with original ideas of my own. ***UPDATE 24/10/2020*** Just to let everyone know how things are progressing, most areas of the game are now complete! Aside from a little necessary quality testing, Peru, Greece, and Egypt are all now finished. Atlantis is on-going, but coming along rather well, and Lara's Home is also progressing nicely as well. Cutscenes are another matter though... I've updated my progress chart below with my (rather) rough estimates on completion. Progress: • Croft Manor: 100% • Caves: 100% • Lost City of Vilcabamba: 100% • The Lost Valley: 99% • Tomb of Qualopec: 100% • St. Francis' Folly: 100% • Colosseum: 100% • Palace of Midas: 99% • The Cistern: 100% • Tomb of Tihocan: 100% • City of Khamoon: 100% • Obelisk of Khamoon: 100% • Sanctuary of the Scion: 100% • The Chase: 98% • Natla's Mines: 98% • Atlantis: 99% • The Great Pyramid: 60% ************************************************** ******** So how about some piccies? And here's a video I put up on my YouTube a while back: Last edited by AngelOfDrkness; 06-06-21 at 21:27. Reason: Changed YouTube link to an embed. |

Nice!
And nice addition with the teeth in Atlantis there, gives me a kind of Doom Eternal Hell-ish vibe. |

Thanks! I wanted to make Atlantis look as organic and unsettling as possible :P

Astonishing.
Already in love with it. And the last one brought the memories of Clive Barker's Jericho and its "meaty" locations, hehe. I love TRA, and I am looking straight forward to playing your creation. |
