tbh Lara never seemed like the type to be interested in love, more focused on her studies and adventures... and even then i just can't imagine her with a man lmao :P

I hope Lara is sterile so that no one will ever mention her having a kid ever again!

Sterility of the Tomb Raider

Help Lara become the mother she’s *destined* to be!
Brand new family dramas and schemes that even rivals Spanish telenovelas! This Summer 2020...

Now *that’s* what CD/EM/SE would understand as ‘fan requests.’

I think this:

That game would take place before she got her first kill (= no baddies to kill) and we'd actually get to see how she got good at solving riddles and stuff (and hopefully we'd be part of that instead of passively witness her doing stuff in a cutscene)

And if that works and in the meantime the industry gets it together and people stop being so dramatically judgimental over classic Lara (from unrealistic crazy moves to overall style), fastforward to present day for real this time.

And if that means another reboot, so be it.
Many people forgot to buy Rise and Shadow , I'm positive many others won't mind if Natalie Drake goes for good.

It doesn't have to be. Breath of The Wild is a pretty good example of that.

This notion that you have to have a "friend" to tag along for the game to be fun is nonsense.

The idea of a love interest for Lara never really worked so naaah.

Especially Jonah! Three games of him is enough. He should stay out of the way moving forward.

I really wouldn't want a love interest, in my experience games have a 90 percent chance of Love Interests being bad.
I very rarely actually care about a love interest character in gaming at best, at worst I can easily end up hating them.

There shouldn't BE a 'next reboot'. This Lara, in this universe should be in the next game, in a new adventure, helmed by EM entirely if u ask me bc a HUGE portion of Shadow they nailed and it's the best TR game we got in years.

Agreed.

For some reason since CD took over they don't like Lara being alone, which to me is ludicrous. Plenty of games with solo protagonists that are fun and interesting. The classics themselves were. Companions are absolutely not necessary, and honestly haven't been done truly well thus far.
