Default Brown Spiky Rolling Ball

Hey there,
Does someone know where does the brown spiky rollingball come from?
There is in the Tutorial level of TRLE, but I've never seen it in TR4.
Btw, in the wad of the level "Burial Chamber" there is the same object, but with different textures

Hi there

Gosh I remmeber thinking this exact thing in 2000 when I first opened the level editor!!

I believe it's the trenches rollingball with textures from the tall seated statue (with the rock back setting) that you see in tut1.wad

Makes me wonder..where were most of the tut1 objects from anyway? I'm guessing a mix of different wads probably

What do you mean by "brown spiky rollingball"?
In KV5, when you drive up a long slope, there are 3 rolling balls.
Are they?

Edit:
Here is the place in the walkthrough of www.tombraiderchronicles.com:
https://www.tombraiderchronicles.com...h/level06.html
"Heading up the ramp, you will trigger three rolling spikes that come from different holes in the ceiling. The order they come out is: right - left - right."

Iíve never seen those before! I think theyíre completely unused in the main game. Iíve played TR4 on PS1 dozens and dozens of times and Iíve never seen these!

Oh, I see.
They didn't appear in TR4.

Do the points of the ball in the Tut1 wad match the locations of the points on the KV5 one?

If so, it looks like the level designer just grabbed the KV5 object, selected the polygons on only the sphere portion and blew them up to get a rounder ball, reimporting it and texturing the whole thing with an existing statue texture.

If you're making a HQ version, just assume it's a spiky bronze ball.

Ah, a bronze ball? Not a rock one?

It's doesn't look like rock to me. I always assumed it was a old rusty metal spiky ball.
