Change Outfit Heads?
hi
I once used to change outfit heads but that was a long time ago and now I think I'm forgetting how to do that using Strpix... Searched for a tutorial but couldn't find anything talking about head swap. It's important to mention that both heads I'm swapping have the same neck hole format/same number of vertices So I did this: 1 - put the new lara_skin with the new head I want into the wad 2 - wrote down neck hole vertices numbers of the original head 3 - exported the new head 4 - imported the new head replacing the original 5 - wrote the vertices of the original head into the new head (in the neck hole) using the remap function but even after that, outfit is bugged Thanks for the help. |

Then insert the head you want to replace it with to see if the neckholes match up. Since the outfit is bugged with the new head, it might be that the heads have slightly different positions. |

Thanks, Titak. I did what you suggested and that's exactly what is happening here.
Is it possible to change heads even if this happens? |

You'll have to edit the neck-hole of the head you want to use, so it is in the same position of the original head.
Or perhaps you can simply move the new head into the correct position. A simple export/import won't work, as you noticed already. Btw, with the "outfit is bugged" I'm guessing you are getting a stretched/bugged neck-joint? |

I'll try doing this with the neck, thank you!
It's a strange mesh that comes from Lara's head to the left arm. The neck stays invisible. edit: I ended up changing only the face using metasequoia Last edited by GabrielCroft; 12-04-19 at 02:08. |

Good solution.
As for the strange mesh, that is the neck-joint that gets stretched out of place by vertices not connecting properly. So yeah, that was indeed the issue here. |

Yeah, I imagined that!
But really, changing just the faces ended up being so good (if not better! Haha) Thanks for your help once more |
