Poltergeist 2015

It's nowhere near as good as the 1982 Poltergeist but it wasn't that bad there could have been more scares it was more creepy than scary the only creepy scene being the comic books blocking the doorway and the clown is nowhere near as scary as the 1982 clown.

The kid playing the son was annoying not as annoying as the kid from The Babadook but still annoying.

My two favourite characters the little girl while she's no Carol Ann she's better than her entire family and the ghost hunter guy played by Jared Harris.

There should have been more references to the original like the kitchen furniture being stacked on the kitchen table and the little girl being pulled along the kitchen floor.

Final verdict it was good but could have been better, both versions are good go watch the 1982 Poltergeist if you want to be scared though it's nowhere near as scary as it used to be, only watch the 2015 version if there's nothing else on TV.

His Dark Materials season 2 episode 1 I've been waiting ages for this I loved the design of the abandoned city Cittagazze that Lyra found herself in.

Is anyone else here watching His Dark Materials?

Brave New World season 1 episode 5, unfortunately Brave New World has been cancelled which I only just found out about a minute ago, it's a pity it got cancelled as it's quite good IMO.

I watched the first Tomb Raider movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). I had kinda "watched" it before, but it was always nearing towards the end and I wouldn't understand much, but I thought to watch it today from the beginning till the end. Enjoyed it a lot! I assume TR:Legend took some inspiration from this one btw? The manor really looks like the one in Legend and some sections reminded me of TR2 and TR:Legend, like the bike scene. I might watch the sequel some other day too.
