Your right she should be stuck if the Winston models surrounded her as Winston is a fixed model when placed in the level, they do not get out of the way. Though Lara could possibly jump up and over them, it depends on collision detection

The seaserpents on the other hand when placed in a level are animated characters, mouth opening and neck and head moving, as can be seen by my gif above.

There is also repeating moving scenery, which is usually part of a race type level, to save on memory.

Legend has some of the most breathtaking scenes in the series imo. England has many subtle yet beautiful environments that were brought out tremendously with the next gen graphics. I was especially taken back by the amount of detail that went into the shadow; it reminded me a bit of AoD. Of course the beginning section of Bolivia and West Africa's waterfalls were splendid. Hell, even Lara herself is in awe over the temples. She really could get into the postcard business.

Bolivia has it's moments. The camera moving high above Lara during closing scene was nicely executed. This may seem a little off topic but this part does set in motion the plot of LAU and to experience it again gives me a sad feeling knowing how it all ends.

Speaking of birds, more of these can be seen in Peru. Maybe it's Putai

The starry sky and hazy clouds makes a very pretty background in Bolivia Redux.

Also I just love the contrast between the red beast and the bluish sky.

I was absolutely stunned by the opening of TR Legend in Tiwanaku, Bolivia. So much that it made me want to go there only to discover its not real
